My baby brother is the only person I trust with all of my secrets. He can’t tell anyone, and I like to think that if he could, he still wouldn’t. He sometimes runs his hands over my cuts for minutes, and I don’t mind, because he doesn’t understand and one day when he does I’m going to make him promise he never does to himself what I do to me.
